The Sun Valley State football team is an academic exemplar. Representing their university in the sport of American football, they compete against other teams from the West Division foes like Bush City (BCU) for a chance at conference title every season.
Sun valley plays at the Sun Valley Casino Stadium.
Coach John
It is no secret that Coach John, the current coach of Sun Valley State University has had a tremendous impact on the athletic program. He turned around the school with his innovative use of recruiting players from outlying areas who would not typically attend a dry climate like Sun Valley or one located in coal country for example; but now they are college football powerhouses!
