The football team is at a loss for words. They have completed the season with another 3-9 record, which will make it impossible to win a conference championship. The coaching staff has been considering new options as of late, but nothing concrete has come up yet.
A recent stretch without much success led coaches into researching different strategies, so hopefully, something good comes about soon enough—these guys need all the support they can get.

The Pineville football team had another miserable season, finishing 2-10. The only conference win came against Canyon City. Head coach Stan Gibbler will need to show improvement if he wants his job for next year.

The Andres Bayou football team has turned around from a 5-7 record in 2013 to 9 wins this season. The changes were made possible because Coach Anderson implemented his ‘360’ strategy which includes player development and aggressive public relations reaching out into communities close to campus for recruitment efforts.”

The Snow Valley Bearcats are becoming one of the premier L13 teams . This season, they took home a conference championship and an outstanding record.

This year’s campaign ended with a disappointing record of 4 wins and 8 losses. Despite Coach Negerski expecting more from RCU, he maintains his support for them as they prepare an encore performance next season.

Joe Malone had another amazing season, however UE took a step back. The team finished 8-5 and managed to grab second place in the L13 East behind New Calico. Ellisburg did finish with a strong Arizona Bowl showing.

The NCU Bulldogs won the L13 East Division with a divisional record of 4-1. With coach Marks at their side, they were able to deliver more improvement taking them all the way for conference championship falling short 21-28 against Snow Valley. NCU won their bowl game against Minnesota.

The 2014 season was another disappointment for the Canyon City football team. Coach Zonn is starting to feel some heat in his seat, and it will be up to him next year how much longer this trend continues or whether there are any changes made with regards to who takes over coaching duties.
The 2012-2014 seasons have been very unimpressive from an athletic perspective as seen by poor win/loss records combined with low morale amongst players due largely because they haven’t performed well enough on either side of the ball.

The 2013 season fell just short of dominance, and Snow Valley is trending in the right direction. The coach has been almost unstoppable this year with their strong running game mixed together seamlessly by some creative play calling that leads to huge points on a regular basis.
